Patricia Thompson Collamer is the author of Grace on the Ledge: A Caregiver’s Memoir and Grammy’s Eyes, a children’s picture book about love between a little girl and her grandmother. She was born and raised in Boulder, Colorado. A graduate of Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science degree, she earned a Master of Arts degree from the University of New Hampshire. She teaches undergraduate sociology courses on the adjunct faculty at York College of Pennsylvania. Outside the classroom she plays the Celtic harp and piano, teaches children’s yoga classes, and bikes everywhere. She and her husband have two grown children off on their own adventures. They live near Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.
